Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy
Last updated: March 2025
Our Commitment
Party Wall Online is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all its business dealings and relationships. We implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.
Our Business
Party Wall Online is a professional party wall surveying practice. Our services are delivered by qualified chartered surveyors and trained contract inspectors. We operate principally in England and Wales.
Our supply chains are limited in scope and primarily include: professional indemnity insurers, technology providers, and contract inspectors who carry out Schedule of Condition surveys on our behalf.
Our Policies
We operate a number of internal policies to ensure we are conducting business ethically and transparently, including:
- Recruitment policy — ensuring all workers are eligible to work in the UK
- Supplier due diligence — reviewing the practices of parties in our supply chain
- Whistleblowing policy — enabling staff to raise concerns without fear of reprisal
Due Diligence
We carry out due diligence on all contract inspectors and material suppliers. This includes verification of the right to work in the UK, review of pay practices, and adherence to health and safety obligations.
Reporting Concerns
Anyone who believes they have identified or experienced modern slavery or human trafficking in connection with Party Wall Online's business or supply chains should report this immediately to hello@pwa.co.uk. All reports will be treated seriously and in confidence.
